There is only One True, Holy, and Just God,
eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is all powerful, all knowing, omnipresent and has set in place a plan to save those who have faith in his Son Jesus Christ as Lord and continue in obedience to Him.
(Isaiah 43:10b-11, Deuteronomy 6:4, Genesis 1:1, John 17:3, John 16:13-15, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19)
Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, is Lord and Savior.
He is the greatest Prophet, the highest Priest, and the reigning King of kings. Through His Lordship, sinless life, sacrificial death on a cross, and bodily resurrection, only Jesus offers salvation through the forgiveness of sins and the final defeat of evil and death. Therefore, Jesus is the only way to God the Father.
(John 1:1-2, 14, Luke 1:35, Luke 2:11, Philippians 3:20, Romans 10:9, Hebrews 1:1-2, Hebrews 5:11, Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:16, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Philippians 2:8, Hebrews 12:2, 1 Corinthians 15:4, Revelation 2:18b, Acts 4:11-12, John 14:6, Colossians 1:15–20)
The Holy Spirit is the eternal, spiritual presence of God-
given as a gift to every believer – sent by Jesus Christ, God’s Son, following His resurrection and ascension into heaven. God gifts His presence (His Holy Spirit) to reside in the hearts of those who receive the forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ, proclaiming Him Lord and Savior. To the believer, the Holy Spirit provides regeneration (new birth), conviction of sin (leading to repentance), Righteous counsel, Wise discernment, boldness for the Gospel, and various spiritual gifts according to God’s sovereign choice to accomplish His will.
(Joel 2:28-29, John 16:7-11, Acts 2:1-11, John 14:23, John 3:5-7, John 3:5-7, 1 Corinthians 12:3, John 16:7-9, John 14:15-17, John 14:25-26, Jeremiah 31:33, Galatians 5:16-17, Acts 16:6, Acts 4:29,31, John 6:40, John 20:21-22, 1 Corinthians 14:12)
The Holy Bible, comprising of 66 books…
39 Old Testament books and 27 New Testament books – is the inerrant and infallible Word of God. The Bible was penned by human hands under the authority, inspiration, and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the Bible is the final authority in matters of faith and practice for the believer in Jesus Christ and for His Church. Through the Bible, God makes Himself known to mankind and tells the story of His redemption of all people through the Lordship of His Son, Jesus Christ – the central figure exemplified in all of scripture.
(2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, Luke 24:44, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Matthew. 24:35)
All human beings have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.
The wages of sin is death. However, by His Grace, God has given the free gift of life and salvation to everyone through faith in Jesus Christ. In response, we receive this gift of grace by believing (in our heart) that Jesus is the Son of God and has been resurrected from the dead, repenting of our sins (iniquities) and transgressions, confessing that Jesus is our personal Lord and Savior, being baptized (immersed in water) into Christ, and remaining in Christ as obedient disciples until the end of our earthly lives.
(Genesis 2:16–17, John 3:36, 1 John 2:1–2, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 3:24, Ephesians 2:1–9, Acts 2:37-42, John 11:25-26, Romans 10:8-10, Mark 1:14-15, Matthew 4:17, Matthew 28:19-20, John 15:1-8)
All followers of Jesus are obliged to honor God by actively pursuing a holy life…
of honor, dedication, and obedience to Christ’s Lordship (authority), teachings, and commands. This produces spiritual maturity that manifests inward fruit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, humility, etc.) and outward fruit (spiritual unity among the Body of Christ, teaching, disciple-making, etc.). Living a Christian life, holy and pleasing to God, not only benefits the individual but also the community in which they live for the sake of the Kingdom.
(Romans 12:1-2, Matthew 5:48, Philippians 3:10-12, 1 John 2:3-6, Galatians 5:22, Ephesians 4:1-3, Psalm 133:1 (ESV), John 17:20-21, Acts 4:32, Hebrews 5:11, Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Peter 2:11-12)
Jesus Christ will be sent to return to Earth.
In the fullness of time, known and decreed by God the Father alone, Jesus Christ will be sent to return to Earth. At His coming, He will bring judgment on both the living and the dead. The righteous (living and dead) will be judged into eternal life and the unrighteous (living and dead) will be judged into eternal condemnation. Satan and evil will also be bound, judged, and held in condemnation for eternity. Jesus’s reign as eternal King will be established and God will dwell with humanity forevermore. Jesus expects that we wait ready and patiently for His return but are found working diligently for His Kingdom when He arrives.
