Worship in Art

We worship a creative God who is glorified when we seek to grow and express our individual creativity. Exodus 35:35 “He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver…”

Creative Connections is a choice-based, open studio concept where participants are encouraged to choose any project or medium in which they want to work. No previous art experience is required, just a desire to learn and grow while having fun.

Class fee is $50 for materials for any combination of 11 classes. All supplies are provided for craft classes, and limited materials are provided for watercolor class. 

Crafts: Jerry Smith: frame weaving, cartonnage (fabric covered boxes), block printing

Watercolor with Elva Morin:  Beginning – Intermediate.  No experience necessary.  Subject matter: your choice OR we have projects you can choose from.  Watercolorists will be provided professional grade papers, but need to provide their own brushes, paints, etc.  If you are a beginner and have no watercolor supplies, do not purchase supplies until after the first one or two classes.  We will provide materials to get you started and I will work with you to make a list of supplies that suits your needs and budget.  If you already have some supplies, bring everything you already have.
